About Dr. Haller

Dr. Leora Haller is a post-doctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Jacob Schlierf. She earned her doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology from Montclair State University. Prior to her doctoral training, she earned her master’s degree in psychology from Drexel University. During her training, Dr. Haller provided assessment and clinical services across outpatient, hospital, partial hospitalization, and school-based settings, working with children, adolescents, college students, adults, and families.
Dr. Haller specializes in cognitive behavioral approaches for a variety of concerns, including OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, and PTSD. She also has an extensive background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and utilizes a DBT-informed approach to support individuals struggling with intense emotions and interpersonal challenges. Dr. Haller is passionate about providing therapy that supports individuals in building lives that are meaningful and aligned with their values. Dr. Haller works with adolescents, college students, adults, and parents navigating OCD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, eating concerns, and related challenges. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and direct, balancing compassion and validation with a focus on supporting clients as they face fears, tolerate uncertainty, and reconnect to what matters most to them. She considers each client’s individual experiences, including their relationships, values, cultural background, spirituality, and previous experiences in mental health treatment, to provide personalized care.
Dr. Haller provides telehealth services throughout the state of Florida.
