Group Therapy
Offerings
Our therapy groups offer structured, evidence-based support in a small group setting. Groups are designed to complement individual therapy, build skills, and reduce isolation—while maintaining clear boundaries, structure, and clinical guidance.

We currently offer two different telehealth therapy groups. Please see details below for descriptions, times, and cost information.
Challenging Obsessions by Practicing Exposure (COPE)

This telehealth OCD treatment group runs for 1.5 hours weekly on Thursday afternoons from 12 - 1:30pm.
18+ only. Group size is between 4-8 members.
The group is structured to provide three components, roughly divided into half-hour segments:

-
Psychoeducation about OCD and discussion of OCD-related prompts brought by facilitators and group members.
-
Values-based goal-setting for an exposure each member will commit to complete over the course of the week and report back about. Feedback and guidance will be provided by facilitators. This time is also used to check-in about the goal from the previous week. (Exposures are not intentionally conducted during group time unless specifically requested by member and approved by facilitators ahead of time).
-
Informal socialization amongst group members to build community support and receive additional feedback as desired from facilitators.

Screenings for the group are free. Please reach out to Dr. Schlierf to schedule a screening.

The next round of group is scheduled to begin on 3/26/26 and end on 5/28/26.
Currently seeking new members.
Aetna and United insurance may be used in FL. Private pay cost is $60 per session.
COPE is a good fit for individuals who:
-
Are currently working on OCD treatment or have prior ERP experience
-
Are willing to practice exposures between sessions
-
Can tolerate hearing about others’ OCD themes without reassurance
COPE may not be a good fit if:
-
You are seeking reassurance or unstructured emotional support
-
OCD symptoms are currently severe enough to require individual stabilization
-
You are unwilling to practice skills outside of group
Understanding Self and Others (USO)

This telehealth group runs for 1.5 hours weekly on Thursday afternoons from 5 - 6:30pm.

18+ only. Group size is between 6-10 members.
